Deuteronomy 6:5

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Deuteronomy 6:5, is a cornerstone of faith, emphasizing the importance of loving and prioritizing YAH above all else. This verse calls us to dedicate our entire being—heart, soul, and strength—to YAH, signifying complete devotion and alignment with His will. Here’s how this command encourages us to put YAH first:

With All Your Heart
This reflects our emotions, desires, and intentions. It means YAH should be at the center of our affections, influencing our decisions and relationships. Loving Him with our heart entails sincerity and passion in our faith.

With All Your Soul
The soul represents our eternal being and spiritual essence. This command calls for unwavering commitment and trust in YAH, dedicating our life to His purpose and seeking Him in all aspects of our spiritual journey.

With All Your Strength
Strength refers to our physical effort, resources, and abilities. To love YAH with our strength means using everything we have—our time, talents, and energy—to honor Him and carry out His will.

By putting YAH first in these areas, we align ourselves with His divine purpose, allowing His guidance to shape our lives. This commitment also leads to blessings and fulfillment, as Yahusha (Jesus) reiterated this commandment in Matthew 22:37, calling it the greatest commandment.

Putting YAH first is an act of faith and trust, reflecting our dependence on Him and our acknowledgment that He is the source of all good things.
